Ulysse Nardin Introduces Its Lightest Mechanical Dive Watch

A breakthrough in lightweight design and sustainability.

At Watches & Wonders 2025, Ulysse Nardin has unveiled the Diver [AIR], the world’s lightest mechanical dive watch, weighing just 52 grams (including the strap). Designed for innovation and performance, this watch pushes the limits of modern watchmaking.

The Diver [AIR] features the new UN-374 calibre, an ultra-light skeletonized movement that weighs only 7 grams. It has hollowed-out bridges, a flying mainspring barrel, and a balance wheel and escapement made from recycled silicon. Despite its lightweight design, the watch can withstand shocks of up to 5,000g.

The 44mm case is made from 90% recycled titanium and carbon fiber, ensuring both strength and sustainability. The side parts use Nylo-Foil, a composite material crafted from upcycled fishing nets and carbon fiber from IMOCA racing yachts. The bezel is forged from CarbonFoil, which is entirely made of reclaimed carbon fibers.

With 200-meter water resistance, a 90-hour power reserve, and interchangeable elastic straps in orange and white, the Diver [AIR] blends cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious materials.

Priced at $38,000 USD, this watch represents Ulysse Nardin’s most advanced combination of high-end watchmaking and modern technology.
