Nike Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood" Protro Returns in 2026

Celebrating its 15th anniversary with modern upgrades.

Nike is bringing back the Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood" in 2026, marking its 15th anniversary with a Protro update. Originally released in 2011, this special edition was inspired by the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles but was never worn by Kobe Bryant on the court. Instead, he gifted a pair to Conan O’Brien during an episode of Conan, making it a memorable sneaker for fans.

The shoe’s design features a scaly upper with a blurry 3D effect, mimicking the look of 3D images without glasses. It also includes mismatched cyan and red accents, with the right shoe favoring blue and the left shoe showcasing more red. A 3D glasses graphic on the inner tongue and a Los Angeles tribute print on the insole complete the theme.

For performance, the Protro edition improves on the original with Cushlon foam instead of Phylon, a larger Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot, and an upgraded rubber outsole for better grip on the court.

While an exact release date is still unknown, the Nike Kobe 6 "All-Star 3D Hollywood" Protro is expected to drop around the 2026 NBA All-Star Game for $190 USD. Fans can look forward to purchasing it through Nike and select retailers.
