A bold new colorway expected to release in Summer 2025.
Nike is back with another exciting Kobe sneaker. This time, it's the Nike Kobe 4 Protro “CHBL”, made to honor the China High School Basketball League (CHBL). This new design brings fresh colors and celebrates the growth of basketball in China.
The sneaker is part of Nike’s Protro line, which updates older Kobe models with better materials and performance features. The Kobe 4, first released in 2009, remains a fan favorite — and now it's getting this special edition.
The “CHBL” colorway starts with a bright yellow toe, which slowly fades to light yellow near the heel. A black Nike Swoosh adds contrast on the side, while the tongue features a black Sheath logo (Kobe’s signature symbol). There are also two lace options — one yellow and one blue, giving fans a choice in how they wear them.
Other cool details include Kobe’s signature on the heel and speckles on the midsole, adding even more flair. The mix of bright colors gives the shoe a fun, youthful look — perfect for honoring high school players.
Nike hasn’t shared the full release date yet, but the Kobe 4 Protro “CHBL” is expected to drop sometime in Summer 2025. It will likely be available on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers, with a price of $190 USD.
