A fresh twist on a classic shoe with butterflies, peace signs, and chunky soles.
Japanese fashion brand NEEDLES has joined forces with British footwear company Clarks to create a unique version of the classic Wallabee shoe. This exciting collection will be released on April 5 and includes black and beige colorways in low-top, mid, and boot styles.
What makes these shoes special are the little details. Each pair features embossed butterfly logos, which are a signature symbol for NEEDLES. There’s also a stylish suede strap with a peace sign-shaped buckle, giving the shoes a standout look. To top it off, instead of the usual smooth sole, these Wallabees come with a chunky, lugged sole for better grip and a rugged style.
Even though the design is bold, the overall color choices — all-black and all-beige — make the shoes versatile and easy to wear with both casual and formal outfits.
Prices range from ¥38,500 JPY to ¥46,200 JPY (around $264 to $316 USD) depending on the style. You’ll be able to buy them directly from NEEDLES and Clarks starting April 5.
With classic comfort, updated design, and NEEDLES’ creative touch, this Wallabee collection is perfect for sneaker fans looking to stand out in subtle ways.
