MING’s New 37.02 Ghost Watch Is Light, Strong, and Stylish

MING has introduced a new watch called the 37.02 Ghost, and it’s both tough and lightweight — even though that wasn’t the main goal when they designed it!

Made from Grade 2 titanium, the Ghost weighs just 35 grams, yet it can handle water pressure up to 260 meters — which is more than double what the team originally planned. That’s impressive for a watch not focused on being super lightweight or waterproof.

The design of the Ghost is inspired by architecture and how light reflects on metal surfaces. Instead of the usual Grade 5 titanium, MING chose Grade 2 titanium, which is harder to work with but gives the watch a warmer, unique look. The watch’s case, dial, and buckle are all made from this material and feature a brushed texture that looks classy and clean.

The dial is extra special, with circular and radial brushing that creates a beautiful play of light — all without using any shiny sapphire parts. The watch follows MING’s signature style with an inverted design that stands out.

In terms of size and features:

  • 38mm case diameter, 11mm thick

  • Slim and easy to wear

  • Powered by a Sellita SW300 movement with custom parts

  • Runs for around 50 hours before needing to be wound again

It also glows in the dark with blue Super-LumiNova X1 and comes with a stylish grey goat leather strap and a titanium buckle.

The 37.02 Ghost is limited to just 250 pieces and is priced at 3,500 CHF (around $4,331 USD). You can find it on MING’s official website and select retailers.

If you love watches that mix cool design with great performance, the Ghost is definitely worth checking out!
