London-based brand Miista has unveiled its latest sneaker, the Nikoletta, blending vintage sports aesthetics with modern fashion. Inspired by the footwear of 1980s footballers and boxers, this low-profile sneaker brings a fresh take on classic athletic styles.
Founded in Bethnal Green in 2011, Miista is known for combining handcrafted quality with innovative design. Creative director Laura Villasenin emphasizes that the brand’s goal is to keep experimenting and perfecting its craft rather than chasing industry trends.
The Nikoletta features a fold-over tongue and rubber outsole, reminiscent of retro wrestling shoes. Made entirely from premium goat leather, it has contrast leather side panels and comes in three sleek colorways: black, brown/navy, and black/white.
Retailing for $415 USD, the Nikoletta sneaker is available online and at Miista’s New York flagship store.
