Fresh Drop: New Balance 990v6 “Avocado” Releases This April

New Balance is bringing some fresh flavor to your feet with its new 990v6 “Avocado” sneakers. Part of the MADE in USA line by Teddy Santis, this stylish pair is set to release on April 10.

The colorway is called “Avocado/Natural Mint,” and it really lives up to the name. The shoe features different shades of green, starting with a deep avocado green on the mesh areas like the toebox and collar. A lighter minty green shows up on the suede overlays at the sides and back. There’s also a third green—somewhere in between the two—that adds even more detail around the mudguard and heel.

To balance it all out, the shoe includes grey accents and a white tongue. It sits on a comfy two-tone FuelCell midsole and a slate grey outsole, making it both stylish and supportive. Overall, it’s a clean and refreshing look that reminds some fans of past New Balance collabs, like those with Patta and mita sneakers.

The New Balance 990v6 “Avocado” will be available through New Balance and select retailers starting April 10 for $200 USD. If you’re into unique colorways and high-quality materials, this might be the perfect spring sneaker for you.
