Dr. Martens Celebrates 65 Years With a Super Limited Edition 1460 Boot

Only 1,460 pairs of this premium design will be released.

Dr. Martens is turning 65 years old, and to celebrate, the brand has released its most premium 1460 boot ever — called the 1460 MIE Pascal Love Letter.

This special boot is handmade in the brand’s original factory in Northamptonshire, England, where Dr. Martens first began. It honors the brand’s long history and the skilled workers who help make each pair. To make it extra special, only 1,460 pairs will be made — making it one of Dr. Martens’ rarest drops ever.

The boot comes in a rich burgundy color and is crafted with high-quality leather from a respected tannery in Leeds, called C. F. Stead. The leather has a soft shine and will change slightly over time, giving each pair a unique look. The design also features asymmetrical panels, yellow stitching, rubber soles, and a “1.4.60” stamp on the tongue — a reference to the date the first 1460 boot was made (April 1, 1960).

The 1460 MIE Pascal Love Letter boot is available now, both online and in select Dr. Martens stores. Whether you're a collector or just a fan of great design, this is a rare chance to own a piece of Dr. Martens history.
