The fan-favorite colorway is coming back for its 10th anniversary.
Great news for sneaker fans — the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” is making a comeback! This iconic sneaker is set to return on July 12, just in time to celebrate its 10th anniversary, and also during the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 silhouette.
First released in 2015, the “Shattered Backboard” colorway was inspired by Michael Jordan’s famous dunk in 1985, when he broke a backboard during an exhibition game in Italy. The shoe features a bold mix of black, sail (off-white), and starfish orange, creating a look that quickly became a favorite among collectors.
This 2025 version stays true to the original, with the same color blocking, premium leather, and the special sockliner design that ties back to the backboard-breaking moment. It’s a faithful re-release that fans of the original will definitely appreciate.
Expect to find the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” on Nike SNKRS and at select stores for $180 USD starting July 12. If you missed out the first time, this is your chance to grab a legendary pair of sneakers.
