Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Bred" Might Return This Holiday Season

Sneaker fans, get ready — the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Bred" might be coming back later this year. A new product code (SKU) has been spotted, and it's got people talking about a possible re-release this holiday season.

The "Bred" (Black and Red) colorway is one of the most iconic in Jordan history. When it last dropped in February 2025, it was super limited — only 10,000 pairs were made, and they were sold at just 23 stores. Even the SNKRS app didn’t have it. The retail price was $250 USD, and as expected, many fans couldn’t grab a pair, leading to frustration all over social media.

Now, with this new SKU appearing, there’s hope that another release could happen later this year, maybe around October 18, which Jordan fans know as “Banned Day” — a yearly event celebrating the original Air Jordan 1 being banned by the NBA in 1985.

However, there's also a chance that this new SKU could be for a slightly different version of the "Bred" or even a new colorway. Big brands like Jordan usually don’t re-release the same exact shoe so soon, especially with a different product code.

Still, fans are hopeful. If you missed out the first time, you might just get another shot at one of the most legendary sneakers ever made. Stay tuned for more updates!
