adidas is bringing back its military-inspired BW Army Lux sneaker in a brand-new colorway called “Dust Sand.” This new look gives the classic design an aged and vintage feel with a mix of soft colors and unique materials.
Originally made for German soldiers in the 1970s, the BW Army silhouette is known for its simple and clean look. Over time, it has also inspired many luxury fashion brands. But adidas was the first to make it, so this version stays true to the original design.
The upper part of the sneaker is made with crackled leather in a light yellowish-beige tone, giving it an old, worn-in look. Smooth leather panels are added for contrast, and unlike many adidas classics, this pair doesn’t have the usual three stripes, keeping the design clean and minimal.
The sneaker sits on a natural gum sole, which matches nicely with the “Dust Sand” color. A soft suede panel at the front adds extra texture, while the tongue has raw leather edges and a subtle adidas Originals logo pressed into it.
The adidas BW Army Lux “Dust Sand” is priced at $120 USD and is expected to release sometime in 2025, though an exact date hasn’t been announced yet. Keep an eye on adidas.com for updates.
