Samsung has announced three new smartphones in its Galaxy A series: the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. For the first time, Samsung is bringing AI technology to this lineup, introducing “Awesome Intelligence,” a feature designed specifically for these phones. This AI platform works alongside the Galaxy AI found in Samsung’s high-end S series.
Display and Durability
All three models come with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI 7. They feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The actual screen size is slightly smaller at 6.5 inches due to rounded corners. These screens can reach a brightness of 1,200 nits and include “Vision Booster,” a feature that improves visibility in bright lighting. For durability, Samsung has used Gorilla Glass on both the front and back.
Camera Upgrades
Samsung has upgraded the cameras in all three models, equipping them with a 50MP main camera with improved autofocus and stabilization. The Galaxy A56 has a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the A36 and A26 have an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The macro cameras vary as well, with the A56 and A36 featuring a 5MP macro lens, while the A26 has a 2MP one. On the front, the A56 and A36 come with a 12MP selfie camera capable of 4K video recording.

- Object Eraser: Removes unwanted elements from images.
- Nightography: Enhances low-light photography.
Performance and Battery
All three models come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The A56 runs on Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, while the A36 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The devices have a 5,000mAh battery that supports Super Fast Charge 2.0 technology.
Software and Longevity
Samsung promises six years of Android OS and security updates, making these phones a long-term investment. Additionally, all models have IP67 water and dust resistance.
