Introducing the Flexible Cabinbag and Flex Gaming Console
At MWC 2025, Samsung Display revealed a series of flexible and foldable OLED concepts, showing how screens of the future could adapt to different needs in everyday life. These new designs include displays that fold, stretch, and even turn into gaming consoles.
A Foldable Screen That Fits in a Briefcase
One of the most exciting concepts is the Flexible Cabinbag, an 18.1-inch foldable OLED display that folds into a compact briefcase. When opened, it provides a large, high-resolution screen, making it ideal for professionals who need both mobility and productivity.
New Possibilities for Smartphones
Samsung also introduced the Polygon Foldable, a 3.38-inch diamond-shaped OLED screen designed for foldable phones. This unique shape could lead to new smartphone designs and features. Another impressive innovation is the Stretchable Display, which expands horizontally, allowing images to change size dynamically. A demo at MWC showed a football stretching as the display expanded, hinting at exciting uses in interactive media and gaming.
A Foldable Gaming Console
Samsung also presented the Flex Gaming concept, a 7.2-inch foldable OLED gaming console that expands into a full-screen experience. This compact yet powerful device is designed for gamers who want high-quality visuals on the go.
Multi-Screen and Bezel-Less Displays
Samsung’s multi-screen concept monitor allows seamless content sharing across multiple devices, making it easier to work across different screens. Another highlight was OLED Tile, a bezel-less modular display system that creates one continuous screen. Samsung demonstrated this by displaying Spain’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral on ten 6.8-inch bezel-less panels and two 31.5-inch monitors, bringing the stunning stained glass visuals to life.
The Future of OLED Screens
While these are still concept designs, Samsung’s showcase at MWC 2025 hints at a future where flexible OLED screens could transform the way we work, play, and interact with technology. Whether for professionals, gamers, or everyday users, these innovations show the limitless potential of adaptive screen technology.
