A luxurious blend of classic design and modern technology.
Saint Laurent Rive Droite and Bang & Olufsen have teamed up once again, this time to bring back a restored edition of the iconic Beogram 4000c turntable. Originally released in the 1970s, this turntable was known for its sleek design and high-quality sound. Now, only ten units have been carefully restored and modernized, making it an ultra-limited collector’s piece.
A Turntable Reborn
Each turntable is housed in a solid ziricote wood case, accented with aluminum details, and is individually numbered. The restoration process ensures the turntable is fully functional for today’s audio setups while preserving its vintage charm. However, this level of craftsmanship comes at a steep price—€30,000 EUR (around $31,000 USD).
A History of High-End Collaborations
Saint Laurent and Bang & Olufsen first joined forces in 2017, and past releases have included luxury speakers and earbuds. This turntable is just the latest in a series of high-end collaborations as Saint Laurent continues to expand its influence beyond fashion, working with brands like Fender and even opening an LA-based Sushi Park restaurant in Paris.
Where to Buy
The Beogram 4000c turntable will be available in the coming weeks at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores in Paris and Los Angeles, as well as online at YSL.com. If you’re an audiophile with a taste for luxury, this might be the perfect addition to your collection.
