Richard Mille and Ferrari have unveiled their latest masterpiece, the RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari, a watch that blends bold design with cutting-edge technology. This new timepiece follows the groundbreaking RM UP-01 Ultraflat Ferrari, released in 2022, and takes watchmaking innovation to the next level.
Inspired by Ferrari Design
Ferrari’s design team, Centro Stile, played a key role in shaping the watch’s appearance. Elements like the crown, hands, and strap are influenced by Ferrari’s Purosangue seats, while the watch’s titanium plate features the iconic Prancing Horse logo, inspired by Ferrari’s 499P rear wing. The intricate detailing of the watch includes microblasted, satin-finished, and polished surfaces, showcasing the exceptional craftsmanship of Richard Mille.
The RM 43-01 is heavily inspired by Ferrari’s engineering excellence. Features like angular structures, raised ridges, and golden hexagonal screws reflect the precision and style of Ferrari’s engine blocks and crankcases. Even the skeletonized 30-minute totalizer on the dial is designed to resemble a tachometer from Ferrari dashboards, adding a three-dimensional visual depth.
Powerful Features
This watch is not just about looks—it’s packed with impressive features. It has a 70-hour power reserve, a torque indicator, and an off-center tourbillon escapement. The movement, created in collaboration with Audemars Piguet Le Locle, optimizes energy efficiency and ensures durability, making it a true marvel of modern watchmaking.
Limited Edition Craftsmanship
The RM 43-01 comes in two variants: microblasted titanium and Carbon TPT®, with each limited to just 75 pieces. The titanium version reflects a refined “gentleman driver” aesthetic, while the carbon version embodies the high-energy spirit of racing. The designs also honor Ferrari’s Formula One drivers for 2025—Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
This watch is not just a timepiece; it’s a tribute to the collaboration between two brands known for their dedication to precision, innovation, and craftsmanship.
