A tribute to the team's early days and Kobe’s lasting legacy.
Nike is set to refresh the Air Force 1 Low with a special "Linen" colorway, paying homage to both Kobe Bryant and the Lakers’ origins in Minneapolis. Before moving to Los Angeles, the Lakers won five championships in Minneapolis, and this sneaker reflects that history with its unique design.
The shoe features a neutral beige upper crafted from premium leather, accented by “University Blue” details on the Swoosh, tongue labels, and heel panels—echoing the team’s original colors. Adding a personal touch, the lateral heels display an embossed sword-in-sheath logo, symbolizing Kobe’s warrior mentality. The left shoe carries his first NBA jersey number, 8, while the right features a vertical infinity symbol, representing his enduring legacy as the Black Mamba.
Expected to drop in 2025, the Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Linen” will be available via Nike and select retailers for $150 USD. Stay tuned for more details.
