JJJJound, the popular Montreal-based design studio, is back with another collaboration. This time, they’ve partnered with Plasticana to give a slight twist to the brand’s well-loved Gardana clog.
Sustainable Design Meets Minimalist Style
The Gardana clog is made from 100% recycled hemp-based plastic, giving it a unique sepia tone that comes naturally from the material’s sugars. It’s vegan, eco-friendly, and designed for a relaxed, loose fit.
For this collaboration, JJJJound has kept things very simple. Their only addition is the JJJJound logo stamped on the back heel, leaving the rest of the design unchanged.
Mixed Reactions From Fans
While the minimalist approach aligns with JJJJound’s aesthetic, fans have been quick to share their thoughts online. Some comments have been playful, while others question the lack of significant changes:
-
“Guys, I just checked the calendar, and it is NOT April 1st.”
-
“This has to be satire, right?”
-
And simply, “bruh lmfao.”
Release Details
The price for the JJJJound Plasticana collaboration hasn’t been announced yet, but the original Gardana clog is currently available for $68 USD online. The collaboration is expected to launch alongside JJJJound’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection in the coming weeks.
