Nike’s trail running shoe gets an ACG upgrade.
A Sneak Peek at the Next Ultrafly
Nike is preparing to launch the ACG Ultrafly 2, a new version of its popular trail running shoe with a fresh design and added performance features. Shared by a trail runner on Instagram, early images reveal that this model now belongs to Nike’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) lineup, a shift from the first Ultrafly, which was part of the standard trail running category.
Updated Design and Performance
The Nike ACG Ultrafly 2 keeps the technical feel of its predecessor while introducing sleek aerodynamic lines and a bold printed Swoosh that extends onto the midsole. The shoe’s lightweight, translucent mesh upper ensures breathability, while curved design elements from the heel to toe create a sense of forward motion.
For rugged terrains, the Vibram outsole provides a firm grip, making it an ideal choice for wet and uneven surfaces. One noticeable change is the removal of the Zoom X midsole graphic, with the focus shifting to an updated ACG-branded tongue tag. Additionally, a Nike Trail wordmark appears on the medial side, emphasizing its outdoor-ready appeal.
Release Information
Nike has not yet announced an official release date for the ACG Ultrafly 2, but more details are expected soon. Keep an eye out for updates as this high-performance trail runner makes its way to stores.
