Celebrating 150 Years with Innovative Timepieces
Audemars Piguet is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a new lineup of luxury watches that blend innovation, elegance, and precision. The collection features a brand-new perpetual calendar movement, an openworked Royal Oak, and a stunning Code 11.59 with a flying tourbillon.
New Perpetual Calendar Movement – Caliber 7138
Leading the collection is the Caliber 7138, a self-winding perpetual calendar movement that improves legibility and user comfort. Unlike traditional models, all calendar functions can now be adjusted with a single crown. This patented innovation is available in three watches:
- 41mm Code 11.59 (18-carat white gold) – 130,000 CHF (~$145,540 USD)
- 41mm Royal Oak (stainless steel) – 109,300 CHF (~$122,366 USD)
- 41mm Royal Oak (18-carat sand gold) – 109,300 CHF (~$122,366 USD)
Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked – Limited Edition
To mark this special anniversary, Audemars Piguet is also introducing the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked "150th Anniversary" Limited Edition. Inspired by a 1990s Royal Oak pocket watch, this 41mm titanium timepiece features the Caliber 5135 movement, which is being retired after this release. Only 150 pieces will be available, priced at 175,000 CHF (~$195,919 USD).
Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon – A Dazzling Masterpiece
For those who love intricate craftsmanship, the 38mm Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon is a standout. Made from 18-carat sand gold, it sparkles with 235 brilliant-cut diamonds on the case and lugs. It features the ultra-thin Caliber 2968 RD#3 movement, marking the first self-winding flying tourbillon in this size. This elegant timepiece is priced at 149,000 CHF (~$166,811 USD).
