Porsche Expands Charging Lounge Network with New Location

Hamburg-Rahlstedt becomes the fifth premium charging facility for Porsche drivers.

Porsche has opened its fifth exclusive Charging Lounge, this time in Hamburg-Rahlstedt, Germany. The new location is designed to provide fast and convenient charging for electric Porsche models while offering a premium experience for drivers.

Located near the A1 motorway, the lounge is a perfect stop for those traveling to and from the Baltic Sea. It features four DC fast-charging stations capable of delivering up to 400 kW, allowing cars like the Porsche Taycan to reach 80% charge in just 18 minutes. All the electricity used comes from renewable energy sources, reinforcing Porsche’s commitment to sustainability.

Designed for Comfort and Efficiency

The modular lounge concept was developed in partnership with Studio F.A. Porsche, ensuring a sleek and adaptable design for different locations. The facility is built using sustainable materials like steel, stainless steel, wood, and stone, with solar panels on the roof helping to power the site.

Inside, customers can enjoy a comfortable waiting area with refreshments, WiFi, and seating. Access to the lounge is made simple through Porsche ID-linked license plate recognition or the My Porsche app, allowing seamless charging and payment.

The Hamburg-Rahlstedt Charging Lounge joins Porsche’s existing locations in Bingen am Rhein, Estenfeld, Ingolstadt, and Koblach, Austria. As Porsche continues to expand its charging network, more locations are expected in the future.
