A fresh take on the retro-inspired classic.
Luxury fashion house LOEWE has reimagined its Ballet Runner sneaker, first introduced in 2019, with a sleeker shape, enhanced details, and new color options. Designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, the Ballet Runner 2.0 builds on the brand’s signature sneaker with a more refined aesthetic and upgraded materials.
What’s New?
The Ballet Runner 2.0 now has a heavier silhouette, added overlays, and a more textured outsole for a distinct look. The sneaker is available in seven different colorways and comes in two material options: nylon and calfskin leather.
Key design elements include:
- An asymmetrical toebox for a unique shape.
- A sock-like inner structure for a snug fit.
- A textured rubber outsole that extends slightly over the toe.
Signature Branding & Color Options
LOEWE’s signature oversized cursive “L” monogram remains a standout feature on the lateral side, while the square-shaped logo is embossed on the tongue. A new rubber LOEWE logo also protrudes from the heel tab for added detail.
The nylon versions come in classic black and white as well as two vibrant technicolor styles, one of which resembles the iconic Nike Cortez "Forrest Gump" colorway. The calfskin leather versions are offered in White, Black, and Cinnamon, providing a more minimal and elegant look.
The LOEWE Ballet Runner 2.0 is available now on the LOEWE web store.
