With spring approaching, Grand Seiko has introduced three new timepieces inspired by cherry blossoms. These elegant additions to the Heritage Collection include two “Sakura-Kakushi” models and one “Sakura-Tukiyo” variant.
A Touch of Sakura in Every Design
Leading the collection is the SBGH368 “Sakura-Kakushi”, crafted from 18k rose gold. Featuring a 38mm case, this luxurious timepiece has a soft pink dial, representing snow-covered cherry blossoms. A brown leather strap complements the warm tones of the watch, symbolizing the tree's trunk. Inside, the Hi-Beat 9S85 movement ensures precision and a 55-hour power reserve. This model is not limited and is priced at $31,200 USD.
For those seeking a smaller, more affordable option, Grand Seiko presents the STGK031 “Sakura-Kakushi” and STGK033 “Sakura-Tukiyo”. Both watches feature a 30mm stainless steel case and a bezel-free design, allowing the crystal to seamlessly integrate with the case. These models are powered by the 9S27 automatic movement, Grand Seiko’s slimmest automatic caliber to date.
- STGK031 has a silvery pink dial, inspired by frosted cherry blossoms in Japan’s Tohoku region during spring.
- STGK033 features a champagne-gold dial, representing cherry blossoms under the glow of a full moon.
Both models retail for $6,400 USD.
