The Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Shorts” is almost here, bringing a special story from Michael Jordan’s past to life. This new colorway pays tribute to the University of North Carolina (UNC) practice shorts that Jordan wore under his Chicago Bulls uniform for good luck throughout his NBA career.
Dressed in a clean white leather upper, the sneaker features soft gray suede around the mudguard and light UNC blue accents on the Jumpman logo at the heel and parts of the midsole. A unique touch is the care tag-inspired label tucked under the tongue, adding a subtle nod to the theme.
The “Lucky Shorts” colorway will officially release on February 22, 2025, for $200 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
As Jordan Brand gears up for its 40th anniversary, this pair is part of a lineup that honors key moments from Michael Jordan’s legendary career. Alongside the return of fan favorites like the “Black Cat” and “Pure Money” colorways, the “Lucky Shorts” adds a meaningful backstory to the collection.
Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t miss your chance to grab this special piece of Jordan history!
