Honor and Porsche Design have announced their latest collaboration, the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR, set to release in early 2025. The new smartphone is a premium version of the recently revealed Honor Magic7 Pro and focuses heavily on AI-powered technology and luxury design inspired by Porsche’s high-performance cars.
Inspired by Porsche’s Racing Heritage
The Magic7 RSR takes design cues from Porsche’s Taycan Turbo S, with an aerodynamic body and a hexagonal camera module that resembles high-performance car components. Even the placement of the three rear cameras is inspired by the symmetrical headlights of a Porsche sports car.
AI-Powered Performance
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite Mobile Platform, Qualcomm’s latest Android processor, which supports advanced AI functions. Honor has built MagicOS 9.0, an AI-driven operating system, into the phone. It includes "Magic Portal," a centralized hub for AI features, and comes pre-installed with Google’s Gemini AI assistant.
Advanced Camera System
Honor has equipped the Magic7 RSR with a triple rear camera setup, featuring:
📸 50MP Super Dynamic Falcon main camera
📸 200MP telephoto camera with a large f/1.88 aperture
📸 50MP ultra-wide camera
The 200MP telephoto lens is one of the industry’s largest and is said to rival professional telephoto cameras. The phone also includes AI-driven photography tools like AI Super Zoom, AI Enhanced Portrait, and AI Motion Sensing Capture.
Display, Audio, and Colors
📱 6.8-inch display with low blue light and natural tone display for eye protection
🔊 HONOR Surround Subwoofer for an immersive audio experience
🎨 Available in Porsche’s Agate Grey and a new Provence Purple color
The PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic7 RSR will be available in early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on its pricing and release details.
