OMEGA Introduces Speedmaster Moonphase Watches with Meteorite Dials

OMEGA has released two stunning new Speedmaster Moonphase watches, featuring dials made from real meteorites. These 43mm stainless steel models celebrate the beauty of the night sky and offer a unique connection to space exploration.

The collection includes two versions: one with a blue PVD-coated dial and another with a sleek black dial. Both watches feature 18k gold hour markers and hands, along with ceramic bezels. The blue model comes with a blue ceramic bezel, while the black version is paired with a black ceramic bezel and a white enamel tachymeter scale.

At the 6 o’clock position, a moonphase display adds an extraordinary touch. The display includes two miniature moons crafted from genuine moon meteorites, rotating to show the phases of the moon as seen from different parts of the world. The background stars replicate the exact view of the sky when Apollo 11 landed on the moon in 1969, as seen from OMEGA’s headquarters in Switzerland.

The watches are powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9914, a manual-winding movement certified for precision and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The sapphire crystal caseback allows a view of this advanced movement.

Both models come with a polished and brushed bracelet featuring OMEGA’s comfort release adjustment system for a perfect fit. These exceptional timepieces are now available at OMEGA boutiques, priced at $17,100 USD each.
