Casio’s G-SHOCK has partnered with the Charles Darwin Foundation to create two limited-edition watches inspired by the unique wildlife of the Galápagos Islands. The collaboration features two models, the GAB2100CD1A4 and GAB2100CD1A7, celebrating the Galápagos Marine Iguana and the Galápagos Penguin.
These watches combine G-SHOCK’s toughness with meaningful design details. The dials feature patterns inspired by ocean waves, while the bands display custom prints with the Charles Darwin Foundation’s slogan. Each band loop is decorated with a symbol of either the Marine Iguana or the Penguin, adding a special touch.
In line with the foundation’s mission to protect the Galápagos ecosystem, the watches are made with bio-based resin bands, reflecting G-SHOCK’s commitment to sustainability.
Both models are built for performance, offering features like:
- Shock resistance
- 200-meter water resistance
- Bluetooth connectivity
- World time for 48 cities
- 1/100-second stopwatch and countdown timer
- Double LED light (Super Illuminator)
The Charles Darwin Foundation collaboration watches are now available at G-SHOCK and select retailers for $170 USD. This collection is a perfect blend of durability, style, and a meaningful cause.
