Daniel Roth’s Extra Plat Souscription: A Tribute to Classic Elegance

At LVMH Watch Week 2025 in New York, Daniel Roth introduced the Extra Plat Souscription, a beautifully crafted dress watch that honors the brand’s rich history.

This ultra-thin timepiece is the second model in the Souscription series and continues the brand’s legacy of fine watchmaking. It features a new DR002 movement with a 65-hour power reserve, designed for both precision and elegance.

Housed in an 18k yellow gold case, the watch has a hand-crafted guilloché dial with a delicate clou de Paris pattern. Each dial is carefully engraved using a historical machine from the 1850s, with a skilled artisan spending 10 hours on each piece.

With a 35.5mm case diameter and a slim 7.7mm profile, the watch stays true to the brand’s iconic double ellipse shape. Each lug is hand-soldered, highlighting the attention to detail in its construction. A light beige-brown calfskin strap completes the look, adding a touch of sophistication.

The Extra Plat Souscription is a limited edition of only 20 pieces, making it a rare collector’s item. For more details, visit Daniel Roth’s official website.
