Casio has introduced a new model in its premium G-SHOCK MR-G line, the MRG-B2100, which features a striking "Blue Ink" dial. This latest release is a blend of style, craftsmanship, and advanced technology.
The watch boasts a full-metal design, with a bezel made from 27 components of COBARION, a highly durable and scratch-resistant material. The bezel is polished with Zaratsu polishing, giving it a mirror-like finish. The blue IP accents on the bezel add an extra layer of elegance. The case, buttons, crown, and back are crafted from Ti64 titanium, a lightweight and strong material that ensures comfort and durability.
The standout feature of the MRG-B2100 is the "Blue Ink" dial, inspired by traditional Japanese kumiko lattice patterns. This intricate design allows light to pass through, energizing the solar-powered module beneath the dial.
In terms of functionality, the MRG-B2100 is packed with features. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, an LED light, a fully automatic calendar, and radio wave reception for precise timekeeping. The watch also has an automatic hand position correction feature for enhanced accuracy and a power-saving mode that extends battery life up to 18 hours.
The MRG-B2100R-2AJR will debut in Japan this month through G-SHOCK’s official webstore, with a price tag of ¥550,000 JPY (approximately $3,524 USD).
