Jordan Brand is celebrating the Year of the Snake with a luxurious release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Xuanwu.” Limited to just 3,399 individually numbered pairs, this special edition sneaker will be available exclusively in China later this month for $355 USD.
The design draws inspiration from Chinese mythology, with intricate details that set it apart. The shoe features a white leather base with a sleek black collar. Its standout feature is the snakeskin-like overlays, combining black and gold for a striking look. The Swoosh, Wings logo, and heel details incorporate rich brown and orange tones, adding depth and elegance to the design.
The outsole has a semi-translucent finish, complementing the off-white midsole. Premium leather rope laces elevate the look, while a unique note inside the tongue highlights the shoe’s exclusivity by showing its number out of the 3,399 pairs.
This “Xuanwu” colorway is part of Jordan Brand’s Lunar New Year collection, which features other themed sneakers as well. Although an official release date has yet to be confirmed, the sneaker is expected to drop soon on Nike SNKRS China.
For fans of rare and symbolic designs, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Xuanwu” is a must-have piece of art. Stay tuned for updates and prepare to act fast if you’re looking to add this exclusive pair to your collection!
