The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 is getting a stylish update, moving from its typical sleek design to something that feels more connected to skate culture. For the first time, this iconic shoe will feature a gum sole, a look usually seen in skate shoes, giving the Vomero 5 a fresh, earthy twist.
The upper of the shoe is all black, maintaining the layered, textured look that the Vomero 5 is known for. It’s then brightened with a touch of off-white on the branding at the quarter and heel, making the design stand out even more. The standout feature, however, is the gum-colored sole, which adds a grounded, natural feel to the shoe.
This new “Black/Gum” colorway brings an interesting change to the Vomero 5's usual futuristic style, hinting that Nike may explore more similar designs in the future. The shoe will be available in Spring 2025, priced at the typical $170 retail cost. Expect to see this updated version on the streets and in stores as it continues to gain popularity.
