Official Look at the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake”

Jordan Brand is starting 2025 with a special edition of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, celebrating the Lunar New Year with the “Year of the Snake” release. While the official images are currently for the GS (Grade School) sizes, they give us a good idea of what to expect when the shoe drops in January.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG has become a key part of Jordan Brand’s Lunar New Year lineup in recent years, with past releases gaining popularity and high resale value due to their limited availability. This year’s “Year of the Snake” design follows a subtler approach, making it versatile for everyday wear while still nodding to the Zodiac theme.

The standout feature of the shoe is the snakeskin-inspired texture. The Swoosh and tongue are covered in a reptilian-patterned nylon, while a black leather snakeskin hangtag adds a premium touch. The backtab features an iridescent Wings logo, providing a subtle pop of color. The rest of the shoe is kept clean with white and grey leather, making it easy to style year-round.

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Year of the Snake” is set to release in Spring 2025, likely towards the end of January, aligning with the Lunar New Year celebrations. Keep an eye out for more updates as the release date approaches.
