Nike Air Max 95 Celebrates 30 Years with "Grey Gradient" Colorway

Nike is gearing up to honor the 30th anniversary of its iconic Air Max 95 in 2025 with a fresh new look: the “Grey Gradient” colorway. Designed by Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 has always stood out for its unique anatomy-inspired design, and this latest version adds a clean, modern twist.

The “Grey Gradient” colorway lives up to its name, featuring a smooth transition of shades from light grey to deep black across its layered upper. Starting near the midsole, the light grey tones gradually darken, moving upward through slate and steel hues before reaching the black suede top layer. The design is finished with a black mudguard and a mesh toebox, creating a sleek and stylish appearance.

Key details include white eyestays, a subtle white Swoosh near the heel, and a murky midsole with semi-transparent Air cushioning units. The tongue badge also follows the grey, white, and black theme, tying the look together perfectly.

As the Air Max 95 approaches its fourth decade, it continues to shine with renewed popularity, thanks to recent collaborations like the Stash edition and the highly anticipated return of the original “Neon” colorway in 2025. The “Grey Gradient” may not be as flashy, but it’s a refined addition that stays true to the timeless design.

Set to release in early 2025, the Nike Air Max 95 “Grey Gradient” will be available for $175 USD. It’s a must-have for fans of the classic silhouette and a great way to celebrate its legacy.
