Grand Seiko has introduced the SBGJ283, a special limited-edition watch inspired by Washi paper, the traditional Japanese craft of handmade paper. Exclusively released for the APAC region, this timepiece honors the beauty of Japanese artistry and craftsmanship.
The SBGJ283 features a unique patterned dial that reflects the textured surface of Washi paper. Its off-white color and subtle sheen add elegance and depth, making it a standout design in Grand Seiko’s 44GS collection.
Powered by the 9386 self-winding caliber, the watch offers a 55-hour power reserve, ensuring reliable performance. The 40mm case is crafted from Ever-Brilliant Steel, known for its durability and luster. It comes with a three-fold stainless steel bracelet and an additional brown crocodile leather strap for added versatility.
Limited to just 150 pieces, the SBGJ283 “Washi Paper” edition is priced at $11,000 SGD (approximately $8,116 USD). This exquisite timepiece will be available through Grand Seiko boutiques and select retailers across the APAC region.
