Fragment Design’s Exclusive Friends & Family Nike Zoom Spiridon

Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment Design has teamed up with Nike to bring back the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon, a retro runner originally released in 1997. The shoe, famous for its full-length Zoom Air unit, is set to make a long-awaited return to the sneaker world. While many are excited about the retail versions of the Fragment Spiridons, there’s a special Friends & Family edition that’s only available to Hiroshi’s close circle.

The retail pairs of the Fragment Zoom Spiridon come in a sleek all-black colorway, featuring white text and a medial swoosh. There’s also another variation that stays true to the classic Fragment Design colors. However, the Friends & Family edition takes things a step further with a metallic finish inner check, paying tribute to the original design of the shoe.

Recently, Devin Booker, the Phoenix Suns star, was spotted wearing the limited edition Friends & Family pair. He was seen matching the shoes with an all-black sweatsuit while boarding a flight for an away game. Booker’s connection with Hiroshi grew earlier this year when the two met up in New York City following the Paris Olympics.

For those eager to get their hands on these exclusive kicks, the Fragment Design x Nike Zoom Spiridon will be released to the public on December 5th, but the Friends & Family edition will remain a rare find for Hiroshi’s closest friends.
