Casio is set to release its unique CRW-001-1JR Ring Watch in the U.S. on December 26, priced at $120 USD. Fans of innovative timepieces can find it on Casio’s official webstore.
As part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations, Casio has introduced the CRW-001-1JR Ring Watch, a compact and stylish innovation. This ring-shaped watch is inspired by the iconic design of G-SHOCK’s full-metal B2100 and B5000 series but miniaturized to fit on your finger.
The watch is crafted using advanced Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology, where powdered metal is shaped into the intricate form of a ring. Its seamless design ensures durability, with the case, back cover, and ring formed as one piece. A glass bonding technique guarantees an airtight structure, making it perfect for everyday use.
Despite its small size, the Ring Watch offers practical features. It is waterproof for daily activities and displays time across two time zones. Its 7-segment LCD shows hours, minutes, seconds, dates, and stopwatch functions. There’s even a flashing light feature that subtly illuminates your hand at a pre-set time.
Powered by a tiny battery, this innovative ring combines Casio’s signature digital precision with a bold, compact design. Retailing at approximately $128 USD (¥19,800 JPY), the CRW-001-1JR Ring Watch will be available from December 26, offering a unique way to keep time at your fingertips.
