ANTA KAI 1 Speed "Pass The Torch" Brings A Wintry Touch

 

The ANTA KAI 1 Speed, a signature shoe for Kyrie Irving’s father Drederick Irving, is back with a new colorway called “Pass The Torch.” This marks the latest addition to the successful KAI 1 series, and it’s a perfect mix of cool and warm tones to close out the year.

The design blends icy and fiery elements. The shoe features a striking ANTA logo on the quarter panel, with cooler tones across the rest of the upper. The outsole stands out with a subzero icy look, while the speckled cement grey overlays add extra detail. The "Pass The Torch" theme likely symbolizes a connection between generations, either from Drederick to Kyrie or Kyrie to the next generation of players.

Performance-wise, the shoe maintains its functional features, including secure lockdown and excellent traction for on-court movement. The KAI 1 Speed "Pass The Torch" will be available at Foot Locker on December 21st, with a possible release from ANTA soon after.
